Acclaimed pianist Natasha Paremski then takes center stage to bring Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 to life - its driving rhythms, lush melodies, and breathtaking technical demands promise an unforgettable performance. The evening culminates with the sweeping passion of Romeo and Juliet, a symphonic masterpiece bursting with drama, heartbreak, and some of the most powerful music ever written. Travel through time with a concert that bridges the elegance of the Renaissance and the brilliance of the Classical and Romantic eras. Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances, Suite No. 3, breathes new life into centuries-old melodies, setting the stage for Haydn’s delightful Sinfonia Concertante, where four of the Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra’s principal musicians shine in a sparkling display of virtuosity. The introspective beauty of Dowland’s Lachrimae Antiquae offers a moment of reflection before Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 5, "Reformation" brings the evening to a triumphant close—an awe-inspiring tribute to history, faith, and musical grandeur.

Celebrate the American spirit with a concert that honors history, resilience, and the power of music to tell our nation’s story. Peter Boyer’s American Mosaic, a newly commissioned work, weaves together images by renowned photographer Joe Sohm, music, and the voices of America in a powerful reflection on the nation’s past and future. The program concludes with William Dawson’s Negro Folk Symphony, composed in 1934, a masterful fusion of African American spirituals and symphonic grandeur, bringing the season to a triumphant and deeply moving close.
